Climate and Sustainability

In addition to the environmental benefits of infill housing, I support funding and accelerating Palo Alto's Sustainability and Climate Action Plan (S/CAP). On council I will support implementing our programs for Heat Pump Water Heaters, and heat pump HVAC systems, for both single family and multi-family homes. I also support expanding EV charging stations and staying on schedule to completely modernize our electric grid by 2030. With you, I see the threats posed by climate change every day and am proud to live in a community that takes these threats seriously.
